Social media and web banner design for the 2023 Bleep Advent Calendar. I was tasked with creating a General Announcement design and a PhotoShop template working file of varying dimensions for the client to edit themselves each day of the campaign.
I began my research by looking at the client's brand identity and it's competitors, both from within the same industry and further afield with the advent theme. I then formulated mood boards and subsequent thumbnails, keeping in mind the client's request for a vintage poster theme whilst also maintaining a contemporary enough design to appeal to their target audience. There were some challenges with this project as the main template file had to be designed to be fully editable, with only the image changing. I used an inverted overlay for the number countdown to ensure design variety for each daily image change and higher consumer engagement.
