Concept, Creative Direction and Illustration.
Rushing Slowly is a weekly newsletter written and curated by Lucy Benson-Brown, published on Substack. It features thoughts and musings in and around the concept of rushing slowly and how we can all benefit from noticing how transforming habits can transform productivity, creativity and overall wellbeing. The branding direction will focus around these core points.
I was tasked with the logo design, visual identity and illustration for this project, working closely with Lucy to produce a collection of thematic assets to compliment and further illustrate each article. Both the typeface choice and style of illustration for this project was inspired by the idea of rushing slowly; to minimise the creative tendency to overthink and make way for a more organic and free-flowing expression.
