Last Train North
Graphic Designer and Illustrator
Book design and illustration for debut novelist Mathew Channer, published with Amazon Books. The brief for this project was to highlight the north-point compass narrative in a way that reflects the dark and mysterious themes of the storyline and character profiles. I wanted to convey the tension between the three protagonist characters and introduce key themes of murder and revenge within the story.

The Bricks That Built The Houses
Graphic Designer and Illustrator | Personal Project
A personal project to re-design one of my favourite fictional novels by Kae Tempest. For this design, I wanted to highlight the idea that despite social class disparity in London; the true essence of community and the power of coming together can literally live under one roof. I used simplistic shapes and a complimentary colour palette to house each design element which I feel gives cohesion to the story. The original cover is pictured below for comparison.

Period Power
Graphic Designer and Illustrator | Personal Project
A spec personal project to redesign one of my favourite non-fiction books by Maisie Hill. For this design, I wanted to highlight the key theme of a female-identifying person in a simplistic way, using an abstract composition and a complimentary colour palette. I used a condensed typeface to further illustrate the symbolism of menstruation within a constricted world. The original cover design is pictured below for comparison.
